On December 5, 2019, the world reference in colorimetry, Pantone announced on its Instagram account that the color of the year will be blue, and more exactly Pantone 19-4052 Classic Blue.
« Inspiring serenity, trust and sharing, this immutable shade of blue underscores our desire for reliable and stable foundations on which to build on the threshold of a new era. » These are the words of Pantone to describe the mood of this color.
